The Blind Mole, A Great Snake, and The illuminating power of the Supreme Firefly

There once was a land of moles.  They burrow underground and also came out at night.  All the moles were blind.  Born that way without any eyes.

There lived a great snake that ate the blind moles.  He was quite crafty.  He would have many ways to  capture the moles.  But some moles no matter what he did he could not catch and eat them.

There also live a Supreme Firefly,  He would glow in the dark like no other firefly ever did.  Sometimes the Supreme Firefly would put some of His light in the mole.  Once the light was in the mole then he would be able to see the snake coming.  Even though the great snake would try other more crafty methods of capturing the seeing moles, none of them would work.

The White Peacock "Holiness"

There once was a white peacock name Glory.  Glory was white all over.  He was the most beautiful of all the peacocks.  When He flares out His feathers Glory looks most beautiful.

Glory would not display His beauty to just any female peacock.  Glory specifically chose who He wanted to see Him in all His beauty.

A special thing would happen when Glory showed off His beauty.  First Glory would choose who He wanted to reveal Himself to.   (Matt. 11:27)

After Glory chose who he would reveal Himself to then He would go near them and flare out His most beautiful feathers.  This would attract the bride that Glory chose.  She would see His beauty as He revealed it to her and she would fall in love with Him.  They would be together forever living happily ever after through a marriage that would last forever.

Moses wanted to see God's Glory.  God said He would let His Goodness pass by and proclaim the name of the LORD.  Ex. 33:18-19.   Then Christ proclaimed the Name of the LORD as Moses saw the back parts of God.  Ex. 34:6-7  What was the response Moses had after Christ proclaimed the Name of the LORD to Moses?

Names of Christ 3 "Beloved"

The Father is the Lover and the Son is the Beloved.  The Father Loves the Son.
The Father loves the Beloved.
The Father is perfect in every way so is the Son.  The Father is most beautiful as is the Son.  The father has an Idea of Himself.  The Father loves this idea of Himself.  It Doesn't get any better than that!!  This Idea of Himself that the Father has is His Son.

The Father had always been seeing the Son.  There in eternity past the Father always loved the Son.

Ephesians 1 ....In love 5 He predestined us to adoption as sons through Jesus Christ to Himself,according to the kind intention of His will, 6 to the praise of the glory of His grace, which He freely bestowed on us in the Beloved.

The Love the Father has to the Son is eternal, infinite and immutable

You are loved with the same Love the Father has for His Son by you being in the Beloved!!


Colossians 1:15

"He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation."

If God were to have an image of Himself,  Himself all over again, then I'm sure this image of Himself would be God's idea of Himself.  God having all knowledge including knowledge of Himself.

Tommy boy asks, "Where did we come from?"

Dad answers, "Jesus made it all.  First there was Jesus then us."

Tommy boy thinks out loud, "So is Jesus like the first letter of the alphabet."

Dad wonders, "How so?"

Tommy boy says,  "Well, there's the first letter of the alphabet.  Then all the rest.  Jesus is first then all of us."

Dad chuckled,  "Yes, Jesus is like the first letter of the Alphabet."

Tommy pondered these things in his head for a while.  Then Tommy asks "Did Jesus think of creating the world before he did it?

Dad answered him, "Yes, Jesus did think of making the world before He actually spoke it into existence."

Tommy understands and says,  "So Jesus is the Author of the world!  He is First, Alpha and Author"

Dad says,  "Yes, Jesus is the First and the Last, Author and Finisher, and Alpha and Omega."

Who wrote the book of John in the bible?

Me babling,

Dad adds more to further on Tommy's understand by letting him know, "Jesus did it to show off what he could do."  Jesus could do what only God could do.  God can only create something out of nothing and so can Jesus.  Jesus is God and does all things for His Glory, so that all things are from Him and through Him and to Him, to God be the glory.  So He is the first reason for everything and the Last reason for everything.  Jesus is also the Author of History and the Finisher of it all.   Jesus is the Alpha and Omega.  Jesus is the Glory of the Father.  The Father Glory is the Alpha and Omega.

But then he had another question, "Why did He create the world?"

Dad said,  Jesus created the world for His Glory.

There once was the Word and His name was Author.  He was the First Original Author of it all.  He thought of everything before it ever was.  Author had it all in mind always before the world was created.   Author was the source and originator of creation.

Power is to be understood as "His strength to act."  or strength.

The King Lion that put on Lamb's Clothing, Humility

The Glory of Christ's Humility allows us to behold seemingly contradictory attributes at the same time in the same being!


There once was a jungle that had a King.  Everyone listened to the King because he was fit to be their King.  The King was perfect, always perfect in all His thoughts, motives, feelings, words and actions.   The King had a Son, the most beautiful of all the creatures in His kingdom.  The King loved His Son because He was the exact image of His Father.

The Prince was no ordinary being.  In order to rule His kingdom properly for His Father, he wore both Lamb and Lion's clothing.  He had to wear Lambs clothing because there were sheep in the land that He did not want to frighten.  But he would also put on the lions clothing when the bad wolf was around.

The King only had one rule.  That rule was to not eat the grass around the corner near the center of the Jungle.  If they ate the grass then they would die.

There was a big bad wolf that hated the King and was always after the sheep.  He loved to eat sheep and get them to disobey the King.  He would make traps to catch the sheep so he could eat them.  There were many bad wolves in the jungle but one was the craftiest of them all.  His traps always worked on the sheep as long as there wasn't a shepherd around.

The biggest baddest wolf in all the land had made a trap for the sheep.  He dug a hole in front of the best grass and covered the hole so that the lambs couldn't see it.

The next morning when it was time to eat the sheep went out into the pasture with the shepherd.   The  shepherd went out first before the sheep to check for danger.  He found the trap that the bad wolf had made the day before.  A few of the sheep tried to get to the grass but the Shepherd would take His staff and pull them back.  Otherwise they would eat the forbidden grass and fall into the pit and die. Since the shepherd saw the trap he knew the wolf was nearby so he led the sheep to other green pastures and still water.

But sheep tend to have a mind of their own sometimes.  They tend to go astray.  So just when the Shepherd was not looking a few of the they started waling closer to grass.  A few lambs left the flock.  They went around the corner and saw the grass that looked so good.  One lamb was very close to the grass and she ate it first.  The she invited her husband to come and eat as well.

Adam thought it okay to eat the grass because nothing really bad had happened to his wife Eve for eating the grass.  Adam walked closer to the grass.  Now he was standing straight over the trap.  As Adam ate the grass the trap opened up.  Adam and Eve fell straight down to the bottom of the pit.  The pit was so deep that they both broke their legs.  And even worse than that, both of them hit their bod on a rock, causing their hearts to bleed.  If they did not get help they would soon die.

Messenger birds saw what had happened and quickly flew to he King and told Him what had happened.  King had a plan to save the sheep even though the sheep disobeyed the King and deserved to die.  King decided to be gracious and send His Son to save the sheep from the jaws of the wolf.

The biggest baddest wolf would check his traps daily to see if he trapped any of the sheep.  The wolf was on his way to the trap that Adam and Eve fell into when just at the right time the King sent His Son.

He was wearing both Lamb's and Lion's clothing at the same time!

The sheep were frightened because they disobeyed the King.  So if they saw a Lion then they would be scared.  But if they saw another sheep then they would not be afraid of getting the death they deserved for disobeying the King.

So when the King's son showed up to the pit he appeared to them as a Lamb.    The sheep wondered how He could save them because he was only a Lamb and the pit was deep.  The King's Son knew what they were thinking so he comforted them by letting them know that He was no ordinary Lamb. The sheep heard the voice of the Lamb and trusted Him to save them.

When the Kings Son jumped into the deep pit without getting hurt the sheep stood there in awe because no ordinary sheep could do that.  The sheep still trusted the Lamb to save them so they jumped on his back.

Just then the biggest baddest wolf of them all showed up.  He saw that someone had fallen into his trap.  The wolf was getting excited and happy because he hadn't eaten in a while.  The wolf ran to the edge of the pit.  As he looked in he saw the sheep in the pit.  Two of them were injured but one seemed to be fine.   He could easily jump down and eat them.

The sheep stayed on the back of the Lamb trusting Him to save them as the wolf jumped down into the pit.  The wolf immediately bit the heal of the Lamb.  The Lamb cried out in pain.  The wolf would not let go of the Lamb's leg.

The Kings Son had two sheep on His back and a wolf clamped down on His heel for 3 hours.  Just when it seemed like the Lamb was about to give up He put on Lion's clothing.   The wolf saw the Lion and was scared more than he ever was.  The Lion, still holding the sheep on His back (grace), lifted up his powerful paw and crushed his head (wrath), instantly killing the wolf.

The sheep were overwhelmed with all kinds of emotion but above all they worshiped Him who was, is and always will be both a Lion and a Lamb.



John saw Jesus in Rev. 1:17  John see's Jesus and gets afraid.  Do you think John saw Jesus as a Lamb or a Lion?
After Jesus talked to John How do you think he saw Jesus?

Luke 5:8  Simon Peter wanted Jesus to "Go away..."  Why?     Do you think Peter saw Jesus as a Lamb or Lion?

When God revealed Himself to Moses what was his response in Ex. 34:8?  Do you think Moses saw God as a Lion or Lamb or equally both?
